Blue Jays from Away
The triple-A Buffalo Bisons scored three times in the top of the 10th inning to give the Blue Jays' minor league system their only win of Tuesday.
Buffalo Bisons 9, Gwinnett Stripers (ATL) 6
With Lourdes Gurriel Jr. on second base to start the 10th inning and the game tied at six, Cavan Biggio moved him over to third with a ground out and Anthony Alford hit a triple to drive him in. Reese McGuire was intentionally walked and Andy Burns reached on a fielder's choice and error that scored Alford and Reese McGuire scored on a wild pitch to give the Bisons a three-run lead that they held on to to beat the Gwinnett Stripers 9-6 in 10 innings.
Ben Revere made his Bisons debut, going 2/5 with a double, two RBI and a run and threw a runner out at second base. Anthony Alford also had two hits, going 2/4 with a walk, the triple, a double, three RBI and a run. Andy Burns was 2/4 with a double, two RBI and a run and Jordan Patterson was 2/5 with an RBI. Lourdes Gurriel Jr., playing shortstop in this one, was 1/5 with a double and Jonathan Davis was 1/4 with a walk and a run. Reese McGuire was 1/3 with a walk, a double and three runs.
Ryan Feierabend started the game, allowing just two unearned runs on six hits and three walks with five strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings. Dusty Isaacs stranded the one runner he inherited but was charged with four runs on three hits (including a home run) in 1 1/3 innings and Javy Guerra pitched another 1 1/3 innings, walking one and striking out one. Conor Fisk got the win, striking out two in the ninth and walking one. Justin Shafer came on for the bottom of the 10th, striking out one for the save.

Roster notes: David Paulino was placed on the 7-day injured list and Francisco Rios was promoted to take his place. Alen Hanson was added to the roster after being sent to triple-A outright and Ben Revere was also added to the Bisons' roster.
New Hampshire Fisher Cats 2, Portland Sea Dogs (BOS) 4
Nate Pearson started his first double-A game and didn't seem to be bothered by an increased level in competition but the New Hampshire Fisher Cats lost 4-2 to the Portland Sea Dogs.
Pearson threw five innings at the Sea Dogs, allowing only two hits and struck out eight in a no-decision. Yennsy Diaz, piggybacking on the start, allowed four runs on six hits and two walks with two strikeouts in the final three innings to take the loss and blow the save.
The Fisher Cats had just four hits including a pair from Chad Spanberger, who was 2/4 with an RBI. Nash Knight was on base twice, going 1/3 with a walk and a stolen base and Alberto Mineo was 1/4 with an RBI. Kevin Smith was 0/2 but walked, stole a base and scored.

Roster Notes: Nate Pearson was promoted from Dunedin and Francisco Rios was promoted to Buffalo.
Dunedin Blue Jays 1, Tampa Tarpons (NYY) 4
The class-A Advanced Dunedin Blue Jays were locked in a scoreless tie with the Tampa Tarpons until the Tarpons opened the scoring in the bottom of the seventh, scoring four runs in the late innings while the Blue Jays could muster just one run in the top of the ninth to lose 4-1.
Joey Murray made his Dunedin debut with five strong innings, allowing just two hits and a walk with six strikeouts. Turner Larkins allowed two runs over two innings, giving up three hits and a walk with one strikeout to take the loss and Matt Shannon allowed two runs on two hits (including a home run) with one strikeout in the eighth.
Christian Williams continues to swing a hot bat, going 2/4 while Cullen Large hit his 12th double, going 1/4 with a run. Norberto Obeso was 1/3 with a walk and Christopher Bec was 1/2 with two walks and a stolen base. Kevin Vicuna and Cal Stevenson were each 1/4.

Roster Notes: Joey Murray was promoted from Lansing and Nate Pearson was promoted to New Hampshire.
Lansing Lugnuts 0, Quad Cities River Bandits (HOU) 6
The low-A Lansing Lugnuts were shut out by the Quad Cities River Bandits in a 6-0 loss.
The Lugnuts had just five hits with two coming off the bat of Otto Lopez (Montreal, Que.) while Ryan Gold (1/4), Tanner Kirwer (Sherwood Park, Alta.) (1/3, BB) and Nick Podkul (1/4) had the other hits.
Josh Winckowski started for Lansing and lasted four innings, giving up four runs (three earned) on five hits and four walks with two strikeouts to take his first loss of the season. Marcus Reyes allowed a run on two hits and a walk with three strikeouts over three innings and Sean Rackoski allowed a run on two hits in the eighth, striking out one.
