The Toronto Blue Jays have agreed to terms with OF Kevin Kiermaier on a one-year contract (US $10,500,000).

Kiermaier, 33, batted .265 in his first season with the Blue Jays in 2023, recording 21 doubles, six triples, eight home runs, and 36 RBIs over 129 games.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound centre fielder also took home his fourth career Gold Glove Award last season.

Kiermaier was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in 2010 and made his debut with the club in 2013. In 11 seasons patrolling major league outfields, the Fort Wayne, Ind., native has appeared in 1,043 MLB games, batting .249 with 308 extra-base hits, 352 RBIs, and 126 stolen bases.
