COBA Major Player of the Week - Anthony Rizquez
The COBA Major Zero K Bats Player of the Week is Rizquez of the Burlington Brants. This is the first weekly award for Rizquez this season. For his week, he played one game batting .750 (3-for-4) with two home runs, a double and a walk. He scored four runs and collected six RBIs Burlington dropped a slugfest to Etobicoke in their only game of the week.

COBA Major Pitcher of the Week - Chris Cloes
The COBA Major Sam Bat Pitcher of the week is Cloes of the Milton Red Sox. This is the second weekly award for the Milton veteran righty this season. In his only appearance this week, he collected a win as he tossed seven innings allowing two runs (none earned) on one hit. He walked two batter while striking four.

COBA Major Team of the Week - Etobicoke Rangers
The COBA Major Hard Bat Company Team of the Week for Week V of the season are the Rangers. Etobicoke had two games this week collecting a pair of wins. They won the first game on the road defeating the Burlington Brants 18-16 before returning home on Friday and defeating the Erindale Cardinals by a score of 4-1. They now sit with an overall record of 10-0 good for top spot in the COBA Major Baseball League.
