COBA's Best Week XI: Hammill, Hyde, Oakville A's
Ontario Terriers grad Elijha Hammill (Oakville, Ont.) earned Player of the Week honours with a double, three home runs and seven RBIs.

The COBA Major Week XI POWs and Team of the Week:
COBA Major Zero K Bats Player of the Week is Elijha Hammill of the Erindale Cardinals.
This is the first weekly award for Hammill this year. For his week, he played one game batting 1.000 (4-for-4) with a double and three home runs. He scored three runs, collected seven RBIs.
For the season, Hammill, a call up to the senior Cards, is now hitting .500 clip (4-for-8). He has a double and three home runs while plating four runs and driving in eight RBIs from both sides of the plate.

The COBA Major Sam Bat Pitcher of the week is Andrew Hyde of the Etobicoke Rangers.
The veteran hurler takes down this honour for the second time this season. In his only appearance this week, he collected the win as he tossed six scoreless allowing three hits. He walked none while striking out five.
He now sports a 4-1 record on the year. He has thrown 36 innings and allowed 18 runs (10 earned) on 33 hits for a 2.50 ERA. He has walked only six batters while striking out 41.

The COBA Major Zingers Bats Team of the Week are the Oakville A’s.
The A’s had three games this week as they went 3-0 on the week with wins over the Milton Red Sox at home 7-4 and a double header sweep of the Burlington Brants on the road by scores of 11-8 and 15-10.
With the wins, Oakville now sits at 4-15 on the season good for eight points overall and are currently in the basement of the COBA standings but have some momentum.
