Dawgs' legend David Robb earns ABCA Lifetime Membership Award

The American Baseball Coaches Association recently named their 2021-2022 recipients for their Lifetime Membership Awards.

Dawgs legend and Hall of Famer, Dave Robb, has been named one of the recipients.

His years of dedication to the Dawgs and the game of baseball has led to this prestigious award.

He has coached at numerous levels throughout his many years in baseball. Whether it’s internationally, nationally or locally, he has made an impact on many generations of players.

In 2018, he was inducted into the Dawgs Hall of Fame and he has been a fixture for Dawgs teams and the fans over the years.

“David has ‘done it all and done it all very well from the elite youth to collegiate, to professional and the international levels,’” reads part of Robb’s Dawgs Hall of Fame bio. “A mentor to a generation (or two) of Dawgs players and coaches. Widely recognized in baseball circles wherever he goes, be that the United States, Canada or Italy, as not only an outstanding coach but a first-class individual, a true gentleman.”

He will back on the field again for the Dawgs this summer.
