The Okotoks Dawgs have re-signed Logan Grant.

The team made the announcement on social media on Thursday.

In 34 games with the Dawgs in 2023, Grant (Chestermere, Alta.) hit .344 with three home runs and 26 RBIs. He also had 30 runs and 13 doubles.

For his efforts, he was named to the Alberta Dugout Stories All-WCBL Team.

Grant also excelled in the U.S. college ranks with the Bellevue Bruins in 2023. In 58 games, he hit .367 with 12 doubles, 11 home runs and 69 RBIs, while scoring 30 runs. His performance earned his recognition as the catcher on the Canadian Baseball Network’s All-Canadian Second Team.

In total, Grant has played three seasons in the WCBL. He suited up for the Sylvan Lake Gulls in 2021 and the Swift Current 57s in 2022.
