The Okotoks Dawgs are pleased to announce the signings of two Emporia State Hornets - Kadyn Williams (OF) and Trent Warstler (RHP).

Dawgs fans will be familiar with Emporia State as some of our most well-known Dawgs have played for the Hornets including left-hander Graham Brunner (Sherwood Park, Alta.) and outfielder/pitcher Noah Geekie (Strathclair, Man.).

Kadyn Williams is a left-handed hitting outfielder that will bring speed and thump to a formidable Dawgs lineup in 2024. So far this spring for the Hornets, Williams is batting .371 with nine doubles, three triples, seven home runs and 39 RBIs.

Trent Warstler works primarily out of the bullpen for the Hornets and should add some depth and experience to the Dawgs pitching staff. So far this spring, Warstler has struck out 27 batters in 27 2/3 innings in 11 appearances.
