BRANTFORD, ONT. - The Brantford Red Sox have signed right-hander Jeremias Sucre (Toronto, Ont.).

The 28-year-old right-hander attended Ryerson University where he studied Electrical Engineering. In 2019, he struck out 26 batters in 19 innings, while posting a 4.73 ERA, for the Ryerson Rams.

From 2017 to 2022, he played with Leaside Leafs of the Greater Toronto Baseball League. In 2022, he recorded a 2.41 ERA and fanned 38 batters in 41 innings. He also had a .316 batting average in 19 at bats.
