Official London Majors News Release

The London Majors have signed London native and H.B Beal high school graduate Andrew “Drew” Lawrence.

Born in 2003, Lawrence has spent time with the Great Lake Canadians of the Canadian Premier Baseball League.

Lawrence can play all three outfield spots. The versatile outfielder is also a talented football player. In 2021, he spent time with the London Beefeaters Football Club of the CJFL.

He has also been a member of the Canadian Junior National Baseball Team.

“Growing up I attended lots of Majors games and got lots of autographs,” said Lawrence. “I am very excited to start my playing career with my hometown Majors”

Roop Chanderdat, Majors co-owner, GM and field boss, is looking forward to having Lawrence on the team.

“Andrew is athletic and has lots of upsides. I am looking forward to coaching Drew. He will give us some depth in the outfield,” said Chanderdat.
