The Toronto Blue Jays' minor league clubs played seven games on Thursday, finishing the day with a 4-3 record.
Buffalo Bisons 5, Worcester Red Sox (BOS) 8
The Buffalo Bisons (56-39) narrowed their deficit to the Worcester Red Sox, but still lost by an 8-5 margin this time.
Playing right field, Cullen Large conked a home run, going 2-for-4 with his eighth blast of the season, driving in two and scoring once. Forrest Wall was 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, an RBI and a run while Richard Urena was 2-for-5. Tyler White was 1-for-3 with an RBI and two wlaks while Christian Colon was 1-for-5 with a double and a run. Juan Graterol (1-for-4, R) and Nash Knight (1-for-3, BB) each had a single.
Lefty Zach Logue was on the mound and he was roughed up, surrendering six runs on six hits (two HR) with a walk and five strikeouts in five innings. Kyle Johnston allowed a run on three hits with three strikeouts in the sixth while Fitz Stadler struck out two in the seventh. Jacob Barnes struck out one in the eighth and Kirby Snead allowed an uneared run on two hits in the ninth.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 10, Binghamton Rumble Ponies (NYM) 3
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (46-48) put a bit of a hurt on the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, winning 10-3.
Three Fisher Cats went deep with Tanner Kirwer (Sherwood Park, Alta.) leading the way, hitting a solo home run as part of a 3-for-5 day with a double, an RBI and three runs. Samad Taylor was 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI and Jordan Groshans was 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and two runs. LJ Talley was 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs and Chavez Young was 1-for-3 with a walk, an RBI, a run and an outfield assist. Demi Orimoloye (Orleans, Ont.) was 1-for-4 with a solo home run and Ryan Gold was 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk, two RBI and a run. Nick Podkul also had two hits and an RBI.
On the mound, Nick Fraze threw five strong innings, giving up a run on five hits with a walk and four strikeouts over five frames. Parker Caracci (1 IP, 1 R, 1 H, 1 BB, 1 K), Sean Rackoski (1 IP), Marcus Reyes (1 IP, 1 H, 1 K) and Jon Harris (1 IP, 1 H, 1 HR, 1 R) finished it off.

Vancouver Canadians 8, Hillsboro Hops (ARI) 6
The Vancouver Canadians (45-54) held off the Hillsboro Hops, surviving four runs scored in the last two innings to beat them 8-6.
Offensively, Rafael Lantigua led the show from the leadoff spot in the order, going 2-for-4 with a home run, a walk, an RBI and two runs. Philip Clarke also had a strong game, going 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, three RBI and a run. Spencer Horwitz also hit a double, going 1-for-5 with a run and Will Robertson was 1-for-3 with two walks, an RBI and two runs. Davis Schneider and Zac Cook were both 1-for-4 with a walk and Cook drove in a run and Schneider scored once. Orelvis Martinez was also 1-for-4 with a walk, driving in a run and scoring one. Andres Guerra was 1-for-5 with an RBI.
CJ Van Eyk went two innings as the starter, striking out three before Andrew Bash allowed two runs on four hits and a walk (hitting one batter) with four strikeouts in three innings. Hagen Danner provided two innings of relief, allowing a hit and a walk with two strikeouts and Roither Hernandez gave up four runs (three earned) on five hits and a walk with two strikeouts in the eighth and the first three batters (none retired) of the ninth. With two on base and no one out, Gabriel Ponce came in and stranded both runners, striking out one in an inning of work to nail down the save.

Dunedin Blue Jays 3, Lakeland Flying Tigers (DET) 2
The Dunedin Blue Jays (44-55) took the lead in the top of the seventh and held on for a 3-2 win over the Lakeland Flying Tigers.
The Blue Jays ran wild against the Flying Tigers, stealing six bases and getting two from Steward Berroa (1-for-3, BB, 2B, R, 2 SB), giving him 43 on the year while Dasan Brown (Oakville, Ont.) was 2-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base, an RBI and a run. PK Morris was 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI while Hugo Cardona was 1-for-4 with an RBI. Mack Mueller was 0-for-3 but walked, stole a base and scored and Riley Tirotta was 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base. Miguel Hiraldo walked and stole a base.
Trent Palmer walked four but was otherwise solid, allowing two runs on three hits with six strikeouts in five innings. Rafael Monsion allowed a hit and a walk with three strikeouts to get the win in two innings and Matt Svanson allowed three hits and struck out four in the final two frames.

FCL Blue Jays 8, FCL Yankees 6
The FCL Blue Jays (20-19) held off a charging FCL Yankees squad to win 8-6 in the first of a doubleheader.
Rehabbing Brock Lundquist hit his third home of the rehab stint, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run while Trevor Schwecke was 1-for-3 with a double and three RBI, scoring a run. Leonardo Jimenez was 1-for-3 with a double, two RBI and two runs. Rikelvin De Castro was 1-for-1 with two walk snad a run while Damiano Palmegiani (Surrey, B.C.) was 1-for-1 with a walk and two runs. Darlin Guzman also scored once, going 0-for-2 with a walk.
Jonatan Bernal was on the mound to start and kept the Yankees to just one run on three hits with two walks and four strikeouts over four innings. Wilgenis Alvarado allowed three unearned runs off a hit and two walks in 1 1/3 innings and Jeury Hiciano allowed two runs on two hits and a walk with two strikeouts in 1 2/3 innings.

FCL Blue Jays 3, FCL Yankees 4
In Game 2 of the doubleheader the FCL Blue Jays (20-20) got behind early and fell 4-3 to the FCL Yankees.
Right fielder Amell Brazoban had a pair of singles, stealing two bases and scoring a run while Glenn Santiago was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run. Angel Del Rosario was 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base and Peniel Brito was 1-for-2 with a walk. Juan Gonzalez was 1-for-3 with an RBI and Adriel Sotolongo was 0-for-3 but walked and drove in a run. Jose Rivas was 0-for-1 but walked twice, stole a base and scored.
Cesar Ayala struck out seven but also allowed four runs on seven hits (one HR) with a walk in four innings. Edgar Castro struck out one in the final two innings.

DSL Blue Jays 1, DSL D-backs1 4
The DSL Blue Jays (17-12) dropped their match on Thursday against the DSL D-backs1 4-1.
The Jays had just three hits with singles from Luis Garcia (1-for-4), Yhoangel Aponte (1-for-2, RBI) and Yeuni Munoz (1-for-2, BB), while Francisco Fajardo was 0-for-2 with two walks and Manuel Beltre was 0-for-3 but walked and scored.
Darwin Cruz was strong in the start, going four innings and allowing just four hits and a walk with two strikeouts. Keiner Lopez allowed a run on a hit and a walk with four strikeouts in three innings and Yondrei Rojas allowed three runs on three hits and a walk with two strikeouts in one inning to take the loss.
