Blue Jays from Away
The Toronto Blue Jays' minor league clubs played four games on Sunday, finishing the day with a 3-1 record.
Buffalo Bisons 9, Worcester Red Sox (BOS) 5
The Buffalo Bisons (57-41) finally got a win, to close out their series with the Worcester Red Sox on a 9-5 high.
After a big game on Saturday, Tyler White had another one on Sunday, going 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, a walk, three RBI and two runs. Danny Jansen had a pair of hits as the DH, going 2-for-4 with a walk and a run. Cullen Large had three hits, going 3-for-4 with a walk and an RBI, scoring once and Kellin Deglan (Langley, B.C.) was 1-for-5 with a three-run home run. Richard Urena drove in a pair, going 1-for-5 with a double and a run. Forrest Wall was 1-for-4 with a walk and a run, stealing two bases and Otto Lopez (Montreal, Que.) was 1-for-5 with a run. Logan Warmoth was 1-for-3 with a walk.
Lefty Nick Allgeyer put the Bisons in a bit of a deficit, giving up five runs (three earned) on five hits and a walk with two strikeouts through two innings. Dany Jimenez was brilliant, striking out five and walking one in two innings of work. Kirby Snead (1 IP, 2 K), Hobie Harris (1 IP, 1 BB, 1 K), Ryan Borucki (1 IP, 1 H), Fitz Stadler (1 IP, 1 BB, 2 K) and Jacob Barnes (1 IP, 1 BB) finished it off.

Roster Notes: Ryan Borucki was activated by the Buffalo Bisons while Mallex Smith and Anthony Kay were placed on the 7-day IL. Rodrigo Vigil and Reggie Pruitt were promoted from New Hampshire to Buffalo.
New Hampshire Fisher Cats 4, Binghamton Rumble Ponies (NYM) 8
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (47-50) dropped their last game of the series with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, getting doubled up 8-4.
The Fisher Cats had just four hits including singles from Demi Orimoloye (Orleans, Ont.) (2-for-4, RBI), Vinny Capra (1-for-5, RBI, SB) and Chavez Young (1-for-3, BB, R, SB). Samad Taylor scored twice, going 0-for-3 with a walk and was hit by a pitch and stole a base. Jordan Groshans drove in a run and walked and LJ Talley was 0-for-2 but was hit by a pitch, drove in a run and walked.
On the mound, Luis Quinones wasn't as dominant as he's been, giving up eight runs on five hits (one HR) with five walks and four strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings. Jon Harris allowed all three inherited runners to score, giving up three hits and walk with one strikeout in 1 2/3 innings. Parker Caracci allowed two hits and two walks, striking out one in two innings and Graham Spraker struck out the side in the eighth. Sean Rackoski struck out one in the ninth.

Vancouver Canadians 8, Hillsboro Hops (ARI) 4
The Vancouver Canadians (47-55) were able to close out their series with the Hillsboro Hops with an 8-4 win.
Tanner Morris smacked three hits, going 3-for-5 with three RBI and a run while Orelvis Martinez was on base three times with a solo home run and two walks. Will Robertson was 1-for-3 with a walk and two RBI and Eric Rivera was 2-for-4 with a run. Rafael Lantigua was 1-for-4 with a walk and two runs, adding a stolen base and Spencer Horwitz was 1-for-5 with an RBI and a run.
Dutch righty Sem Robberse had a solid outing, going 4 2/3 innings and giving up two runs on five hits with two walks and six strikeouts. Justin Maese got the win, stranding one of the two runners he inherited from Robberse, allowing two hits and striking out two in 1 1/3 innings. Gabriel Ponce allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits with a strikeout and Roither Hernandez finished the final two innings, allowing two hits and striking out two.

Dunedin Blue Jays 4, Lakeland Flying Tigers (DET) 3
The Dunedin Blue Jays (46-56) edged out the Lakeland Flying Tigers 4-3 on Sunday to close out their series on a high note.
Newly drafted Riley Tirotta had a big day for the Blue Jays, going 3-for-3 with a walk and an RBI, also scoring a run. Harrison Ray was 1-for-5 and Miguel Hiraldo was 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run. Steward Berroa was 0-for-4 but drove in a run with a sac fly and stole his 47th base of the season. JJ D'Orazio was 1-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and a run and Justin Ammons was 1-for-4 with an RBI. Hugo Cardona was 1-for-4.
Starting was Naswell Paulino who had a solid outing, giving up two runs on four hits and two walks with four strikeouts in five innings. Trenton Wallace walked two but didn't give up a run in his inning of work and Justin Kelly allowed a run on two hits with a strikeout in the seventh. Rafael Monsion surrendered two hits in the eighth and Sean Mellen got the save, giving up two hits but no runs and striking out two.
