The Toronto Blue Jays' minor league affiliates had a full slate of games with the Buffalo Bisons playing a doubleheader and the organization was 6-1 in seven matches.
Buffalo Bisons 5, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (NYY) 1
The Buffalo Bisons (58-41) were happy to see the backs of the Worcester Red Sox and opened their series against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders with a 5-1 win in the first of a doubleheader.
Cullen Large was 3-for-4 with two doubles and a triple, driving in a run and scoring one while Christian Colon was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Richard Urena was 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI while Nash Knight was 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk. Tyler White was 1-for-2 with two walks and a run and Logan Warmoth was 1-for-3 with a stolen base.
On the mound was Bowden Francis who gave up a solo home to old friend Jonathan Davis among just three hits with a walk and six strikeouts over six innings. Bryan Baker pitched an outstanding ninth, hitting a batter.

Buffalo Bisons 3, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (NYY) 0
The Buffalo Bisons (59-41) finished off the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders with a 3-0 win in the second game of the doubleheader.
It was very much a bullpen day as seven pitchers threw one inning each to combine for the shutout. Kyle Johnston (1 IP, 1 K) started while A.J. Cole (1 IP) and Nate Pearson followed. Pearson struck out the side in order, retiring all three batters he faced. Anthony Castro (1 IP, 1 H, 1 K), Curtis Taylor (Port Coquitlam, B.C.) (1 IP), Julian Merryweather (1 IP, 1 H, 1 K) and Hobie Harris (1 IP, 1 H, 2 BB, 1 K) finished it off.
The Bisons had just seven hits with Forrest Wall going 2-for-4 with a double and a run and Cullen Large going 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI. Reggie Pruitt was 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk and Richard Urena was 1-for-3 with a double and a run. Otto Lopez (Montreal, Que.) was 1-for-3 with an RBI.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 6, Portland Sea Dogs (BOS) 5
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (49-50) held off a seventh-inning rally by the Portland Sea Dogs to win 6-5.
Tanner Kirwer (Sherwood Park, Alta.) was 1-for-2 with a walk, an RBI and a run while Jordan Groshans was 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run. Vinny Capra was also 1-for-3 with a double, driving in two and scoring once. Chavez Young was 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run and Nick Podkul was 1-for-2 with a double. Samad Taylor was 0-for-1 but walked twice, scored once and was caught stealing.
Maximo Castillo got his 11th win, throwing six innings and giving up five hits (one HR) with a walk and eight strikeouts. Sean Rackoski allowed two more runs in 2/3 of an inning, surrendering a hit (one HR) and a walk while Marcus Reyes came on and retiring the final batter of the game for a save.

Vancouver Canadians 9, Everett AquaSox (SEA) 8
The Vancouver Canadians (48-55) held off a late charge by the Everett AquaSox, beating them 9-8 on Tuesday.
Catcher Philip Clarke went 4-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run while Will Robertson was 3-for-5 with two doubles and two runs. Orelvis Martinez was 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, a walk, two RBI and three runs while Tanner Morris also went deep, going 1-for-4 with a walk, two RBI and a run. Rafael Lantigua was 1-for-5 with a run and Spencer Horwitz was 1-for-5 with a run. Trevor Schwecke was back with Vancouver and went 2-for-4 with a walk and an RBI. Zac Cook was 1-for-4.
On the mound Paxton Schultz went four innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on four hits (one HR) with four walks and four strikeouts. Hayden Juenger allowed just a hit and a walk with four strikeouts in two innings and Jol Concepcion surrendered a run on a hit and two walks with two strikeouts in one inning. Will McAffer (North Vancouver, B.C.) allowed four runs (three earned) on three hits and three walks with two strikeouts in two innings.

Dunedin Blue Jays 16, Palm Beach Cardinals (STL) 6
The Dunedin Blue Jays (47-56) had a monster offensive day, led by Addison Barger, to demolish the Palm Beach Cardinals 16-6.
Barger was 3-for-5 with three doubles, driving in six runs and scoring once. PK Moarris was 2-for-6 with an RBI and two runs while Zach Britton was 2-for-3 with two doubles, two walks, an RBI and three runs. Leo Jimenez was 1-for-2 with a home run, three walks, an RBI and three runs. Riley Tirotta was 1-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and two runs and Steward Berroa was 1-for-4 with a walk, two runs and a stolen base. JJ D'Orazio was 1-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and two runs and Garrett Spain was 1-for-4 with two RBI, a run and a sac fly.
Yaifer Perdomo was hit around a bit early, giving up five runs on four hits (two HR) with three walks and five strikeouts in three innings. Jefferson Herrera got the win, allowing a run on three hits with a walk and three strikeouts in two innings. Jimmy Burnette threw another two innings, walking two and striking out one. Matt Svanson got the save, tossing two innings and giving up two hits with two strikeouts.

FCL Blue Jays 5, FCL Phillies 7
The FCL Blue Jays (22-21) fell to the FCL Phillies 7-5 on Tuesday.
Adriel Sotolongo led the offence, going 2-for-4 with a run while Jaden Rudd was 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run. Juan Gonzalez was 1-for-2 with a triple and an RBI and Jose Rivas was 1-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base, scoring a run. Rainer Nunez was 1-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run while Jhon Solarte was 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run. Emmanuel Sanchez was 1-for-4.
Rehabbing was James Dykstra, who allowed four runs on four hits (one HR) with a strikeout in one inning. Rafael Ohashi took the loss, giving up two runs on one hit (one HR) with two walks and four strikeouts in four innings. Edgar Castro gave up two hits and a walk with one strikeout in one inning and Geison Urbaez allowed a run on one hit (one HR) with a walk and four strikeouts in two innings to finish it.

DSL Blue Jays 6, DSL White Sox 2
The DSL Blue Jays (20-13) picked up their 20th win in a rematch with the DSL White Sox, winning 6-2.
The batters had just four hits, getting a double and a walk from Victor Arias who scored twice and was 1-for-3 while Martine Gimenez was 1-for-3 with a double. Cristian Feliz was 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run and Jonathan Peguero was 1-for-3 with an RBI and a stolen base. Manuel Beltre was 0-for-3 but walked and scored.
Starting was Angel Santana, who threw three scoreless innings with a hit and a walk allowed, striking out one. Robin De Jesus got the win, allowing a hit and a walk and striking out three in two innings. Francis Mercedes allowed a run on a hit with a strikeout over one inning and Frank Medina gave up two hits and a walk with one strikeout in one inning. Nathanael Perez allowed a run on a hit and a walk with a strikeout before Yondrei Rojas took over, striking out three of the five batters he faced and giving up just a hit in 1 1/3 innings.
