The Buffalo Bisons had their 12-game win streak snapped as the Toronto Blue Jays' minor league teams went 0-4 on Saturday.
Buffalo Bisons 2, Syracuse Mets (NYM) 3
The Buffalo Bisons (68-42) finally had their win streak snapped as they fell 3-2 to the Syracuse Mets.
Second baseman Cullen Large had a pair of hits, going 2-for-4 with a run while catcher Rodrigo Vigil was 2-for-4. Rehabbing Cavan Biggio was 1-for-3 with a double in the loss while Otto Lopez (Montreal, Que.) was 1-for-5. Kevin Smith (1-for-4) and Gregory Polanco (1-for-4) each had a hit while Tyler White walked twice. Forrest Wall was 0-for-3 but drove in a run with a sac fly and scored.
The bullpen pulled together to have a solid game as Kyle Johnston started, allowing a run on two hits (one HR) with one strikeout in the first 2 2/3 innings. Jacob Waguespack allowed a run in 1 1/3 innings, giving up three hits and a walk, striking out one while A.J. Cole allowed two hits and struck out one in one inning. Kirby Snead walked two and struck out two in one inning and Rafael Dolis took the loss, giving up a run on three hits with a walk and a strikeout in 1 2/3 innings. Bryan Baker finished it, walking one and striking out two in 1 1/3 innings.

Vancouver Canadians 1, Spokane Indians (COL) 12
The Vancouver Canadians' (53-60) offence was again blunted by the Spokane Indians, falling 12-1 on Saturday.
In left field, Zac Cook had a pair of hits, including a double and also had a pair of outfield assists while centre fielder Will Robertson was 1-for-4 with a home run but also made an error. Tanner Morris was 1-for-4, as was Eric Rivera and Rafael Lantigua was 1-for-3 with a walk.
On the mound, Paxton Schultz was pelted for seven runs on six hits and four walks, striking out three in 3 1/3 innings. Willy Gaston gave up another three runs on four hits with three walks and two strikeouts in 1 1/3 innings. Jol Concepcion stranded an inherited runner and allowed a hit and a walk but no runs, striking out one in 1 1/3 innings. Will McAffer (North Vancouver, B.C.) walked four but didn't allow a run and struck out three in two innings and Gabriel Ponce allowed two runs (one earned) on a hit and a walk with two strikeouts in the ninth.

Dunedin Blue Jays 3, Tampa Tarpons (NYY) 8
The Dunedin Blue Jays (53-59) fell 8-3 to the Tampa Tarpons.
With only five hits, the Blue Jays' offence wasn't operating on all cylinders. Leonardo Jimenez was 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and a run while Riley Tirotta was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run. Addison Barger was 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run and PK Morris was 1-for-3 with a walk and two RBI. Andres Sosa was 1/4.
Freshly promoted Dahian Santos allowed five runs in his first full-season start, giving up five hits and two walks with a strikeout in two innings. Justin Kelly gave up three more runs on three hits (one HR) with a walk and two strikeouts. Trenton Wallace walked two and struck out two in two innings and Connor Cooke struck out two in the eighth.

FCL Blue Jays 0, FCL Phillies 5
The FCL Blue Jays' (23-26) couldn't do much with the bats, falling 5-0 to the FCL Phillies.
The Jays had five hits with singles from Jhon Solarte (1-for-1), Juan Gonzalez (1-for-2), Gabriel Martinez (1-for-3), Jaden Rudd (1-for-3) and Damiano Palmegiani (Surrey, B.C.) (1-for-2). Mallex Smith was 0-for-2 but walked and stole a base and Gabriel Moreno was 0-for-1 with a strikeout.
Cesar Ayala took all of the damage, giving up five runs (four earned) on two hits with three walks in 2/3 of an inning. Stephen Vargas stranded a runner and provided 3 1/3 innings of scoreless relief, walking three and allowing a hit and Jackxarel Lebron walked two and struck out two in one inning. Soenni Martinez finished it, allowing a hit.
