On Wednesday, the Toronto Blue Jays' minor league teams went 3-0 in three games with the short season teams having the day off and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats had their game postponed because of COVID-19 protocols.
Buffalo Bisons 8, Syracuse Mets (NYM) 4
The Buffalo Bisons (66-41) ran their winning streak to 10 games, taking advantage of the 42-65 Syracuse Mets in an 8-4 win.
Forrest Wall was a home run short of the cycle, going 3-for-4 with a single, a double and a triple, walking once and scoring twice. Richard Urena was 3-for-5 with a run and Kellin Deglan (Langley, B.C.) was 3-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI. Cullen Large was 1-for-4 with a triple, a walk and two RBI, scoring a run while Otto Lopez (Montreal, Que.) was 2-for-5 with two RBI, two runs and a stolen base. Nash Knight hit a double, going 1-for-4 with a run and Logan Warmoth was 1-for-2 with a walk and a run.
Lefty Zach Logue logged five innings, allowing just two runs on four hits (two HRs) with a walk and four strikeouts. Rafael Dolis surrendered two unearned runs on a hit and a walk with two strikeouts in the sixth and Kyle Johnston allowed two hits but no runs in the seventh. Fitz Stadler walked two in the eighth and Anthony Castro struck out the side in order in the ninth.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Reading Fightin Phils (PHI)
Game postponed due to COVID-19 protocols.
Roster Notes: The New Hampshire Fisher Cats placed a number of players on the seven-day IL (likely related to the COVID-19 protocols that have kept them from playing the last few days). Demi Orimoloye (Orleans, Ont.), Brock Lundquist, Samad Taylor, Chris Bec, Luis Quinones and Mike Ellenbest were all placed on the IL retroactive to September 7.
Vancouver Canadians 11, Spokane Indians (COL) 5
The Vancouver Canadians (52-58) unloaded offensively on the Spokane Indians, scoring six runs in the bottom of the eighth to come away with an 11-5 win.
Spencer Horwitz was 3-for-5 with three RBI and two runs while Rafael Lantigua, coming in for Luis De Los Santos (who was 0-for-2 with an RBI) was 2-for-3 with two doubles, an RBI and a run. Philip Clarke was 1-for-4 with three RBI and a sac fly while Tanner Morris was 1-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and two runs. Will Robertson was 1-for-3 with a double and a walk and Davis Schneider was 1-for-3 with a double, two walks and a run. Zac Cook was 1-for-2 with a walk, an RBI and two runs. Trevor Schwecke was 0-for-3 but walked twice and scored while Eric Rivera was 0-for-4 but walked and scored twice.
The starter was Adam Kloffenstein who allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks despite striking out seven in 4 1/3 innings. Hayden Juenger went 1 2/3 innings, striking out two and Gabriel Ponce struck out four in two perfect innings. Will McAffer (North Vancouver, B.C.) allowed a hit and struck out one in the ninth.

Dunedin Blue Jays 11, Tampa Tarpons (NYY) 8
The Dunedin Blue Jays (51-59) rallied for five runs in the top of the ninth to defeat the Tampa Tarpons 11-8.
Speedster Steward Berroa led the way, going 3-for-4 with a home run, a walk, an RBI and three runs, adding a stolen base. PK Morris added three hits, going 3-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI and a run while several players had a couple of hits each. Leonardo Jimenez was 2-for-2 with three walks, an RBI and a two runs while Dasan Brown (Oakville, Ont.) was 2-for-5 with a walk, an RBI, a run and two stolen bases. Zach Britton was 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run, stealing a base and Miguel Hiraldo was 2-for-5 with two runs and two stolen bases. Riley Tirotta was 1-for-5 with a double and a run and Victor Mesia was 1-for-5 with an RBI.
On the mound, Trent Palmer struck out 11 in five innings, giving up three runs on four hits and two walks. Jimmy Burnette allowed two runs on two hits with a walk and two strikeouts in one inning and Matt Svanson allowed three runs on a hit and two walks with two strikeouts in one inning. Connor Cooke struck out the side, allowing a hit in the eighth for the win and Julian Valdez got his third save, allowing a hit in the ninth.
