After losing the opener of their four-game set with the Ontario Nationals, the Terriers 16U won three straight to win their final Canadian Premier Baseball League regular season series of the year.

Game 1: Nationals 8 Terriers 1

Despite the loss, there were a few bright spots for the Terriers in Game 1. Ansh Ghosh went 2-for-3, while Luke Connors, Jack Duggan and Noah Konings all chipped in a hit.

Game 2: Terriers 10 Nationals 3

The bats came alive in Game 2 as the Terriers put up 10 runs on 12 hits in a 10-3 win. Jack Duggan posted a 2-for-3 game with a home run and was hit by pitch. Chris Dawidow drove in two with an inside the park home run.

On the bump Ansh Ghosh allowed two runs on three hits over six innings and struck out eight to pick up the win.

Game 3: Terriers 13 Nationals 11

It was another big offensive performance for the blue and gold in Game 3. Lucas Brown, Nolan Goranson and Jason Green all chipped in three hits to lead the offence. Two of Goranson hits left the yard as he launched a pair of two-run home runs and drove in five in total. Looking to keep pace, Green went deep twice too, hitting a two-run home run in the fourth and a solo home run in the fifth. Noah Konings also got in on the fun with a solo shot.

Declan Troy was solid on the mound over 5 1/3 innings. He gave up a hit, six unearned runs, walked three and struck out four.

Game 4: Terriers 8 Nationals 4

In the finale Jason Green put together a 2-for-2 game with two RBIs and was hit by a pitch to help secure the 8-4 win.

The Terriers 16U finish the regular season in fifth place with a record of 16-9 and will head to Windsor for the CPBL Playoffs from September 2 to 4.
