Ottawa, Ont. - The Ottawa Titans (18-7) saw their season-high nine-game winning streak come to an end on Tuesday, dropping an 11-8 decision to the Trois-Rivières Aigles.

The Aigles tagged Titans starter Tyler Jandron for three in the top of the first, with veterans Juan Kelly, Steve Brown and Connor Panas (Etobicoke, Ont.) driving in runs.

In the bottom half, Jackie Urbaez and AJ Wright got aboard for Brendon Dadson (Bowmanville, Ont.) who smacked a double off the wall in right, scoring Urbaez. On the relay throw, Aigles second baseman Joe Campagna threw wide of home, scoring Wright. With Aigles starter Sam Poliquin (Montreal, Que.) covering the errant throw to the plate, he tossed the ball past catcher Carlos Martinez, which scored Dadson to tie the game.

The tie game didn't last long as the Aigles put up another three-spot in the third and added a single in the fourth to take a 7-3 lead.

Jandron's night came to an end after four complete, allowing seven runs (six earned), eight hits and walking one, while striking out five in his first loss of the season.

As the Titans' bats fell quiet in the middle innings against Poliquin, the Aigles used the momentum to push across four more in the seventh off Matt Terrones.

After pushing a run across in the eighth, the Titans came alive in the ninth, adding four, then brought the winning run to the plate with the bases loaded and two outs. Mark Tindall got Dadson to ground out to end the ballgame.

The Ottawa Titans are back in action Wednesday evening for the middle game of the three-game series with the Trois-Rivières Aigles at 6:30 p.m. from Ottawa Stadium.
