Official Vauxhall Academy of Baseball News Release

Vauxhall, AB – As we enter our 15th season with the Academy, it will certainly be different and unique on so many fronts.

The entire organization will do our absolute best to maintain a once in a lifetime opportunity to go to school, live and play baseball in a rural community. Games, locations and times will be announced each week as approvals happen. We are excited to welcome our entire staff back with a couple of additions to the program.

Field Staff

Coach Les McTavish – 15th season

Coach Jim Kotkas – 15th season

Coach Joel Blake – 9th season

Coach Josh Burgmann – 2nd season

Periodically guest coaches and alumni will be added to the mix

Support Staff

Josh Hoetmer – Mental Performance – 9th season

Jeff Krushell – Strength & Conditioning – 15th season

Alex Sirard – Strength & Conditioning Assistant – 1st season

Greg Morrison – Sports Therapist – 6th season

Anna Buekert – Cook – 9th season

Lynda Unruh – Administration – 9th season

Jimmy & Lisa Vulcano – Residence Managers – 3rd Season

In addition to the staff, we welcome 10 newcomers to our 22 man roster and 2 new newcomers to our practice squad. Our roster consists of players from 6 provinces with 2 players in grade 10, 8 in grade 11 & 12 in grade 12. For a detailed look at our entire roster click on this link.
