White, Doucette star at the plate in tie at JNT Fall Camp
Okotoks Dawgs Academy and Doucette Academy 1B Ty Doucette (Dartmouth, N.S.) had two hits and two RBIs for Team Red at the Junior National Team Fall Instructional Camp in Dunedin, Fla., on Sunday.

The Junior National Team program is in Dunedin, Florida at TD Ballpark (the spring training home of the Toronto Blue Jays) from October 14 to October 23 for the annual Fall Instructional Camp
Thirty-four athletes will be participating in daily practices and intrasquad games with a doubleheader also scheduled against Stetson University on October 19.

Sam White (Aurora, Ont.) hit three doubles and drove in two runs while Ty Doucette (Dartmouth, N.S.) had two hits and knocked in a pair as Canada Red played Canada Grey to a 5-5 draw.
With Grey leading 3-0 in the fourth, Red struck with back-to-back RBI singles from Doucette and Josh Jones (Blainville, Que.) before Jakob Poturnak (Vancouver, B.C.) knotted things up with a sac fly to centre field.
After Doucette collected his second RBI single of the game in the fifth to give Red a one run lead, Cameron Chee-Aloy (Toronto, Ont.) doubled in a run in the seventh to give his side a two-run lead.
With two out in the top of the ninth, White lined a pitch to left that plated Keegan O’Hearn (Oshawa, Ont.) and Dylan O’Rae (Sarnia, Ont.) to tie the score.
