Workhorse Sam Worthen was back at it out of the bullpen for D'Youville University this past week.
Known for his ability to eat innings during his time with the Terriers, Worthen (Guelph, Ont.) has continued to do the same throughout his college career.
He made his first appearance of the week on Monday, working two scoreless innings with a strikeout in a 4-3 loss to Lincoln University.
Then, in their series opener against Mercy College, Worthen picked up the win by throwing 1 1/3 innings and scattering two hits in an 11-8 victory.
Not done there, he earned his fourth save with a scoreless inning of work in a 5-2 Game 2 win.
