The Toronto Blue Jays dropped a 6-4 decision to the Boston Red Sox in Grapefruit League action at Dunedin Stadium on Monday.

The Blue Jays lost despite a three-hit game from centre fielder Kevin Pillar and a two-hit, three-RBI performance by first baseman Justin Smoak.

Designated hitter Sandy Leon socked two solo home runs off Happ for the Red Sox.

Veteran Curtis Granderson continued his torrid spring with a single in two at bats. He's now hitting .409 for the Blue Jays in Grapefruit League action.

Blue Jays prospect Richard Urena started at second base and went 0-for-3 to see his Grapefruit League batting average drop to .087.
