Finn Hoeschen was one of the top three position players at the Canadian Futures Showcase in September.

The North Shore Twins outfielder impressed rival coaches, pro scouts and recruiters.

We don’t remember if the Indiana Hoosiers recruiting director was there but it’s obvious that the Hoosiers like Hoeschen (North Vancouver, BC). Indiana and Hoeschen came to a verbal agreement on a letter of intent.

Besides impressing at the Rogers Centre, Hoeschen made the all-tournament team the same month at the 17U Perfect Game Fall World Series at the East Cobb Complex in Marietta, Ga.

Hoeschen had three hits, including a double for Team Elite Black. He also knocked in four runs, stole two bases, walked three times and scored three times.

At the Futures Showcase he displayed 6.6 speed in the 60.

In 2022 with the Twins, he batted .323 with five doubles, two triples and 15 RBIs in 40 games, while stealing 24 bases.

He was one of four players to be added to our Letters of Intent page. Meanwhile Peter Berrryman was a busier man adding 32 players to our 2025 Canadians in College list, which now sits at 1,097 ... just eight shy of the 2024 total.
